Central Indiana Machine Tool Trades Training Center, Vincennes University
M A Metal has taken an active role in working with the Indiana Business Modernization Corporation to initiate a training program for metal forming specialists at
Vincennes University.
The Central Indiana Machine Tool Trades Training Center assists the Central Indiana metalworking community with its shortage of qualified, career-oriented workers by
bringing Vincennes University's Metalworking Technology Certificate program to Indianapolis' Arsenal Technical High School campus.
This BMT-supported program is an unique School-to-Work initiative that:

familiarizes students, teachers and administrators with the opportunities abounding in the metalworking industry;
|

2.
|
creates an alliance between industry and educators to ensure that students are learning the needed information and skills; and
|
|
3.
|
creates a natural recruiting source for the metalworking industry.
